Come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
Matthew 19:14
My sister Amanda and her husband Darren lost their baby boy yesterday.

No sooner come, but gone, and fall’n asleep,
Acquaintance short, yet parting caused us weep;
Three flowers, two scarcely blown, the last i’ the’ bud,
Cropt by th’ Almight’s hand, yet is He good.
With dreadful awe before Him let’s be mute,
Such was His will, but why, let’s not dispute,
With humble hearts and mouths put in the dust,
Let’s say He’s merciful as well as just.
He will return and make up all our losses,
And smile again after our bitter crosses
Go pretty babe, go rest with sisters twain,
Among the blest in endless joys remain.

And two years ago today, Josh and I had the joy of knowing we were going to be parents. Sweet little babies, even still, we love and miss you. You both made us parents, maybe not in our arms, but always in our hearts.
