Sometimes, my in-laws forget about my birthday. Which is more okay than it sounds, because it just means I get presents at unexpected times. And since like my friend Beth I practice celebrating not just a birth day, but birth month, I’m totally in favor of birthday presents received in March, or December (as was the case this year.)
Since I was already gifted out with holiday presents, I got a check. Woohoo!
Which rapidly became my bedroom reading chair.
And footstool!
It’s not what I thought I would have picked out, but it goes so perfectly with our bedroom
And I love the curves of it. God bless Ikea.
Oh, and this is a bear
named frog (I think that’s about my only souvenir from Thailand.)
There’s even room for Gracie
And sometimes Nanuq
But rarely for all three of us.
HELL YEAH! Blog mention for me. 🙂
When I was reading the first part, I was like, but her birthday was months ago (October – just like J-baby)… Anyway, I am also a HUGE fan of belated birthday gifts. It makes me feel like people understand my need for a birthday month, even though, in reality, they are just lazy and forgetful. 😉
What is this birth month that you speak of? And can you clue my husband in, as mine is coming up? 🙂
Do clarify which inlaw. And I love the birthday month, although I always had birthday week.
DOH! I missed your birthday. I love the photo narratives. I will tell you more about that chair in an email. 😉
