Yesterday was my other sweet baby boy’s birthday – Josh turned 30!
We had most of our celebration on Saturday – we went out to eat and I forced him to open his presents from me. I totally suck at keeping surprises secret and I generally want people to open their present thirty seconds after I wrap it. This was no exception.
His present from me Bose headphonse for his iPod. Thanks for the tip Amy! They’ve already been put to use, so no pictures.
He also got his first daddy presents! In preparation for being a parent where gifts aren’t really for you, but for your kid.
A Pooh sleeper
Complete with Pooh footies!
His favorite 🙂
I spent yesterday slaving away to make him a birthday cake
With chocolate icing (all from scratch, natch, no boxes here!)
He knows I love him when I bust out the Tiffany, and I mean really love him, not just in that “I-took-vows-with-you-and-my-daddy-married-us-and-so-I-have-to-love-you” kind of way.
Proof that you can buy love, and it generally starts with recipes that call for five sticks of butter.
