Weekends – Sock Knitting

I finished mom’s Monkey socks

I’m not 100% happy with these, they tend to bag at the top, but I think they’ll be okay after a washing. The yarn is really squishy and super comfy, and the colors knitted up a lot prettier than I thought.

I found myself distracted by making teeny, tiny socks for Poppy 🙂

So little and such an easy knit

I can’t wait to see her little feet in them!

And I started Tony’s Thuja socks.

Made with one of my favorite sock yarns – Austermann Step

This is a really fun “faux rib” pattern that’s just mindless knitting

Those Poppy socks are pretty much the most adorable, love-filled little socks I have ever seen! You aren’t the only one who can’t wait to see her little feet in them!! 🙂

Poppy’s socks are adorable!!! And I love the monkey socks too.

Did you see Lion Brand has a new sock yarn out?

I still haven’t gotten the knitting thing down yet, so I am quite envious of all of your goodies 🙂

I knit the Thuja socks for my husband this past winter. He never wanted a pair of hand knit socks but I figured I should knit him at least one pair. He absolutely loved them. As soon as they were washed, they were back on his feet. It is a great pattern!
The itty bitty socks are so cute. Don’t you love how fast they knit up?
