If you are a family member

And you see this on Fox News

Or this on CNN

“Warning: Ike may bring ‘certain death'”

Or this on MSNBC

“Flee Hurricane Ike or ‘face certain death,’ officials warn”

Or this on CBS

“Experts: Flee Ike Or ‘Face Certain Death’ ”

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE rest assured that this does not apply to where we are at in Houston. Josh and I are totally safe and we’re going to be perfectly fine. This storm is going to be a disaster – as in, the beach we went to last weekend may not be there anymore after this thing hits – but we’re perfectly safe in Houston. So keep us in your thoughts and prayers, but know that the biggest danger we face is a window breaking because our stupid next door neighbor believes his house is a dumping ground for unwanted construction materials.

Thanks for keeping us up to date. I keep checking NOAA, I will be watching all weekend and let’s hope Poppy decides to stay put until after the storm passes through.

    Love to all,
