It was inevitable

The bluebonnets are out

They’re the state flower of Texas

So it’s a pretty big deal around here

Everyone drags their kids out to photograph them

Sometimes even darting across the highway as most bluebonnets are in medians

(Don’t worry, we weren’t that dangerous!)

I guess this means she’s officially a Texan now.

At least as she looks as skeptical about it as I feel!

Her red hair looks so pretty among the purple. Love the post — in fact, I just scoped out a good median and plan to drag my kids across a highway any day now. 🙂

I see you guys made it before the storm! I was working today, so I wouldn’t have been able to join you. I guess if I want to take any now I have to wait for the ground to dry.
